Lisa Olech loves art, pirates, and a cranky curmudgeon she affectionately calls the Wizard of O. She’s currently the author of ten romance novels in both the contemporary and historical genres. Lisa uses witty dialog with a side order of sexy to bring to life multi-faceted, adventurous, smoldering characters you’ll not soon forget.

More than a dozen years ago, I began writing purely by fluke. I'm not one of those writers who wrote my first manuscript in crayon at the age of three. No, I've always been a late bloomer! But bloom I did. And now, I cannot imagine what my life would look like without having found my passion.
Whether sailing the seas penning a pirate romance, or playing with artists in my contemporary romance novels, I love writing, and creating beautiful, strong, sexy characters, with wonderful adventures. I'm an artist in my heart, and creating my stories is simply my way of painting my world with words. I'm humbled and grateful to all those amazing writers who have paved the way for me, and continue to serve as my inspiration and my support.
Writing (and reading) romance is a beautiful escape for me. In a world of stress and strife, knowing each story I create is wrapped in love and has a happily ever after, eases a bit of life's sting. Sharing that love and passion is why I do what I do. It is my sincere hope that my readers are able to lose themselves in the pages of my books, maybe fall in love, or remember their own first kiss, and perhaps let the rest of the world go by… if only for a few hours.

I can be found in my garden and choosing the perfect spot for my bee apiary, or my glass studio working with stained glass, or perhaps I’m doning a black suit and heading off to marry a couple as a Justice of the Peace. Wherever I am, I try to add a little more light, beauty and love to the world.
